How to use a Vaginal Suppository

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly before administering the suppository.
  2. Remove the foil wrapper and moisten the suppository with water or water-based lubricating jelly.
  3. Lie on your back with your knees bent.
  4. Insert suppository into vaginal canal as far as you can and the medicine will be left behind in the vagina.
  5. For vaginal cream products: Attach the applicator to the opening of the tube of cream and twist until firmly attached. Squeeze the cream from the tube into the applicator until it reaches the level indicated for your dose. Twist and remove the applicator from the tube.
  6. For tablets or suppositories: Remove the medication from the wrapper and place it into the end of the applicator.
  7. Please keep lying for 10-15 min after insertion to ensure absorption of medication.
  8. While using this medicine, wear a sanitary pad to protect your underwear.
Vaginal Suppository (with the applicator)
  1. Wash your hands thoroughly before administering the suppository.
  2. Remove the foil wrapper and moisten the suppository with water or water-based lubricating jelly.
  3. Lie on your back with your knees bent. Hold the applicator in one hand. Put the applicator into your vagina (like you would a tampon) as far as you can. Slowly press the plunger until it stops.
  4. Withdraw the applicator. The medicine will be left behind in the vagina.
  5. Please lie for 10-15 min after insertion to ensure absorption of medication.
  6. Wash the applicator with soap and water after every use, rinsing and drying it well.
  7. While using this medicine, wear a sanitary pad to protect your underwear.
